Heart-n-Soul Community Cafe was gifted a variety of beautiful, mature plants from Bloomfield Garden Center near Sabin, MN this week and we are looking for volunteers to be caretakers of the plants. Volunteers will plant the varieties they choose in their own gardens, tend to and harvest the plant(s) as needed, and deliver veggies and/or herbs to the Presbyterian Church as the harvest becomes available.
Plants will be available at the First Presbyterian - on the north side of the church (facing the Post Office), today through Friday, July 10th from 9am to 7pm. First-come, first-served.
Current Inventory: 2 large tomatoes, 6 Hungarian wax, 2 Hungarian orange, 11 Cherry toms, 2 artichokes, 2 Swiss chard, 1 lemon balm, 2 golden thyme, 2 summer stream spicy thyme, 4 banana peps, 4 Serrano peps, 4 Fresno chilis, 2 mandarin peps, 3 chocolate beauty’s, 3 jalapeños peps, 4 green flying peps, 1 sriracha hot pepper, 6 mini mints, 2 apple mint, 2 pineapple sage, 2 golden sage, 2 ginger mint, 6 Rosemary, 8 red cabbage, 3 coriander, 2 lemon grass, 1 eszpasote, 2 golden thyme, 2 orange mint, 9 leeks, 2 pineapple sage.
